A Family Tradition....

Our family has always celebrated the 4th of July. It's my favorite holiday. In 1997 one of the purchased fireworks lit that year, included a small cardboard car with a piccolo pete sticking out the back. The car caught on fire and so did the idea of the Piccolo Pete 500. The following year our first official race was run. Each year family and friends have gathered to compete, eat, swim and visit. It has turned into a wonderful family tradition. LONG LIVE THE PICCOLO PETE!
