2009 Race Results!

This years race is now history and the results are not surprising! We saw a few new innovative designs, a lot of reused tires, and a few new racers.


We also saw the return of the car that sparked the idea for our race! A cardboard indy style car with one piccolo pete sticking out the back. It didn't go far, but it brought back memories from 1998.

2009 Videos

David shot video of the entire race, but I did not take as many video snipets as I usually do. I haven't had a chance to edit the full length video, but I hope you enjoy the 'snipets' I did manage to capture.

It's hard to see, but this is Vickie's 'green' car. Made from cardboard reels that use to hold ribbon and some dowls, it didn't do too badly!

2009 Winners!

1st Place - Nick
Nick won with a revamped design from last year! Check out last year's winner pics to see the 'old' design.
2nd Place - Thomas
Actually Susan came in 2nd, but she didn't want her picture taken so she turned her entry over to Thomas!

3rd Place - David
David has won 'almost' every year we have recorded winners....just never 1st place!
