You may be wondering what is the Piccolo Pete Racing Association (PPRA)? The PPRA is the governing body that creates and maintains our Rules, Guidelines, Race Day Schedule and this blog. The PPRA is also responsible for producing an annual DVD of the race event.
Who makes up the PPRA? I do. Others are free to provide suggestions that I will incorporate into our rules or guidelines, assuming the suggestion makes sense. I am not as controling as I use to be, but I do like order. I think that order helps contribute to a safe event. Also, I have found that decision by committee does not work very well with this group. So, I make the rules and everyone else breaks them, as they see fit. This form of government has worked well for us. I am happy, because I am in control. Everyone else is happy, because they think they are.
